Weebly
To view another website I have created using Weebly, check out my research project for this course. It's called Handwriting to Typewriting.
Our district is promoting teachers to use Weebly to create their own websites. SharePoint, which we use now, is a little technologically advanced and time consuming.
Weebly is easy to use; it's fairly intuitive and easy to place titles, text, images, and embedded videos within each page. It has many themes for people to choose from and well organized (tabs are at top or side).
Weebly sometimes freezes, or doesn't add things in right away. Editing text or changing fonts is sometimes a struggle. As well, there is not table function within Weebly.
I can see teachers using Weebly to create their own websites, or students to store their completed work. It also has blogging capabilities, so comments can be made on each page. It is not a LMS; it doesn't have the capabilities or functions to do that.
